Clay Baskets & Woven Pieces

This is another one of my personal favorites. It has rich copper hues on the woven top and the entire inside of the bowl that glisten in the light. The bottom is a basket texture with a multitude of greens and copper tones. It was fired four or five different times to get the deep rich highlights on the outside.

Each "string" around the top was hand formed and twisted, then woven around the basket bottom. This one took a LOT of time, but it was worth it (to me at least...).
