The Art of Green, Senoia, Georgia April 25 2009
I had a LOT of fun at the show. This was the first year for the show so the traffic wasn't great, but I have no doubt it will be much better next year. I met some great people. Senoia is getting ready to explode with the Arts. There are some fantastic shops in the historic district, well worth visiting. I have a list of things to buy and I didn't have much time to look.
I'm signing up to do the Memorial Day show in Senoia. I understand the traffic is excellent at the show. Assuming I'm accepted, I'll share more details later.
Right now I'm pooped. The temps were in the 80's today and it was hot, hot, hot. I'm hoping for a day of rest tomorrow, but I may break down and unpack some of the pottery that I didn't sell today. Right now it's all stacked in the dining room.
Doing a show is a lot of work! Pricing, packing, hauling, setting up shelves, unpacking, etc., etc., etc. But the rewards of finding the perfect person to adopt one of my pieces is worth every bit of the effort. I get such a kick out of it when someone falls in love with a piece of my pottery and just has to have it.
Nuff rambling... I'm saving this page, loading the site and heading to bed. It's almost midnight. Wow.
